Much of the area is busy year-round since many people have put roots down here and aren't typically day-trippers or beach hoppers. Visitors find that it's not typically a shore town in the respect that it doesn't empty out once Labor Day rolls around. Instead, the traffic levels do increase a bit during the summer months, but overall, things stay relatively the same throughout the entire year.
